What we collect
Hawker Finder does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not use cookies, tracking scripts, analytics services, or third-party embeds that collect personal information.
Geolocation
When you click "Find my location," your browser asks for permission to access your device's GPS. Your coordinates are used only to sort hawker centres by distance and to centre the map on your location. They are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our server or any third party beyond the map tile provider (OpenStreetMap) for the sole purpose of displaying the map.
External links
This site links to external services such as data.gov.sg, Google Maps, and publisher articles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Data sources
Hawker centre data is sourced from Singapore's Open Data Licence via data.gov.sg (NEA Hawker Centres dataset, Nov 2025). Food stall information is retrieved from publicly available food guides and cached locally — no user data is involved.
